White Elementary’s own Ms. Elysia Garcia, a 4th grade GATE teacher, was selected by the Futuriza Scholarship Fund to receive a generous donation of school supplies and a STEAM for School software license to support her classroom.

Futuriza is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering educators and students by providing scholarships, classroom tools, and technology that promote innovation and equity in learning.

The president of the Futuriza Scholarship Fund, Briana Felix, along with bilingual education advocate Veronica Vallejo, personally delivered the supplies to Ms. Garcia. They were inspired by her background and dedication to her students, making her a perfect choice for this wonderful donation.
